In his early teens Peter volunteered as a camera man at the local cable station in his hometown of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Bitten by the news bug, Peter has had many great media gigs including morning show radio hosts, promotions, programming and news directorships.
He was most recently podcast producer and host of 'Today in BC' for Black Press Media.
An award winning newspaper Publisher and former municipal councillor, Peter has served with Chambers of Commerce on both of Canada's coasts and as Chairman of the BC Legion Highland Gathering.
He is a bass drummer for the Qualicum Beach Pipes and Drums.

Peter talks with the Green Party of Canada leader, Elizabeth May. Stephanie May, Elizabeth’s mother, was a prominent activist in New York during the 1950s and was successful in helping to getting a nuclear test ban treaty. The wide-ranging interview includes May’s take on the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Rowe vs. Wade.

Darrell McKay, a retired engineer actively involved in humanitarian efforts, chats with Peter from Ukraine. McKay provides a first-hand account of the dire conditions faced by the people. Sitting on the front stoop of a safe house near the front line, McKay shares stories of resilience and heroism amid the ongoing conflict.

The annual Barney Bentall and the Grand Cariboo Opry Charity Concerts have raised over $500,000 for various charities.
Peter chats with Pamela Martin, longtime B.C. news anchor and journalist, discussing her journey in journalism and her current dedication to volunteer work. Martin broke barriers as the first female reporter at CKNW news radio in the 1970s, with her unique perspective on stories. The former Miss Teen USA attended university in Mexico and Italy.

Singh says that overall, the people that he has talked to in the sessions offered feasible solutions to healthcare issues.
